Meet Our Management Team

CEO and Senior Scientist, has published over 400 scientific articles with over 23,000 citations in the literature. He was selected as the first Fellow in the American Academy of Inventors from the University of Oregon, with 14 patents and several applications pending. Since then, he and fellow BEL/Neurosom scientists have obtained four additional patents and several pending. Don Tucker founded Electrical Geodesics, Inc. (EGI) in the early 90s as a commercial extension of the original UO Brain Electrophysiology Laboratory. After slowly growing to $14M sales, he took EGI public on the London Stock Exchange (AIM) in 2013, and sold it to Philips in 2017. He founded BEL (The Brain Electrophysiology Laboratory Company) in 2018 to pursue advanced R&D projects in brain electrophysiological assessment and therapy.

Dr. Don Tucker, Ph.D.

Chief Science Officer, has over 20 years of experience as a scientist developing and using dense-array EEG and transcranial electrical stimulation (TES) technologies. He previously served as EGI’s Chief Technology Officer and Chief Science Officer. In his time at EGI Philips Neuro, he served as Head of Research for EGI Philips Neuro.

Dr. Phan Luu, Ph.D.

Chief Technology Officer, has a Ph.D. in Physics with 15 years of experience in Neurophysiology, and 9 years of managerial experience both in academic and start-up environments. His knowledge of recent technologies for Artificial Intelligence are critical for Neurosom’s development of both neurophysiological and psychological approaches of sleep therapy.

Dr. Roma Shusterman, Ph.D.

Chief Operating and Strategy Officer, brings 20 years of global experience in Sales, Business Development and Strategy in the medical device industry. In his previous role at EGI Philips Neuro, he led the commercial team in Europe, ME, Australia and the Indian subcontinent. He has been instrumental in the adoption of novel neurodiagnostic and neuromodulation technologies across many KOL sites around the world. Overall, he is passionate about corporate entrepreneurship and building value-based campaigns, backed up with scientific evidence.

Viral Sheth

Commercial Leader, brings over 30 years of experience in the management of sales and marketing for medical device and scientific instrument companies. Before joining BEL, she led the Sales Operations team at EGI Philips Neuro, a medical device company specializing in neurodiagnostic equipment.

Dee Dee Nunes

Director of Marketing, worked for a decade on the marketing team for EGI and then EGI Philips Neuro, specializing in advertising and training media and website design.

Corin Tucker

Accounting Manager, was EGI’s controller and has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience, with both audit processes and federal grants and contracts.

Tess Pablo Teittinen

Dr. Nichols has recently been appointed as Neurosom’s Chief Innovation Officer. This position reflects his role in empowering healthcare leaders to stay ahead of the curve. He pinpoints emerging trends and unmet needs, then crafts strategies that align our breakthrough technologies with their future success while incorporating cohesion and polish across Neurosom’s teams. With a PhD in neuroscience and extensive experience in medical leadership, he ensures Neurosom not only creates cutting-edge therapies but delivers them seamlessly into the healthcare landscape for maximum impact and adoption.
